At Konigsberg Instruments, it is our goal to provide the finest products of their kind, and to continually improve our products and performance. We aggressively seek to create new products and features, and make them available to the medical and research communities in order to further their work on behalf of all mankind.

Konigsberg Instruments is a custom, make-to-order medical device manufacturer that provides unique products and services to scientists, clinicians and to other medical device manufacturers. Since our founding in 1967, we have developed and supported a diverse mix of Extracorporeal and Implantable Biomedical Sensors and Devices that are widely used in many fields of medicine and scientific research.

We pioneered the use of chronically implantable solid-state pressure sensors in medical research. Our Biotelemetry systems performed well on three U.S. and two Russian orbital missions (in rodents, primates and astronauts). Our current Sensor and Biotelemetry product offerings are unrivalled in quality and diversity.

For clinical applications, Konigsberg Instruments pioneered the development of the Solid State GI Motility Probe in the 1970s, the Circumferential Pressure Sensor and multi-use Antimony GI pH Sensor in the 1980s, and multi-function Impedance/Pressure/pH Probe in this decade, with continuing product improvement programs throughout the years.

Konigsberg Instruments, Inc. is licensed in the State of California as a medical device manufacturer. We are registered with the United States Food and Drug Administration, Canadian and European medical device regulators. Our Clinical Device Quality System meets U.S. FDA Good Manufacturing Practices, Quality System Requirements and ISO 13485:2003. Our proprietary GI Motility Probe designs are FDA 510(k) approved, (K980980) and CE/MDD Registered worldwide ( 0470).(CE 0470).

Over the years, Konigsberg Instruments, Inc. has been the recipient of numerous grants and small business contracts to develop miniature sensors and systems. We have also designed and fabricated sensors and systems for a variety of government agencies, including the Chemical Defense User Safety System, Launch Pad Worker Safety System, and Spacelab 3, Neurolab and BION orbital bioscience missions.
